While asking for a president from the South East just readjust your expectations because that person will most likely disappoint you

A Nigerian president of Igbo extraction in reality will simply be an ego thing (which I subscribe to by the way) for the Igbos and opportunity to better the lives of the person's family members, close friends and business associates.

Will it bring rapid infrastructural development to the South East or attempt to reverse any unfavorable policies the South East currently suffers from? No!!!

Such a person will be worse than former president Goodluck Jonathan in terms of doing anything for his people.

He will do everything possible to favor and develop other geo political regions so as to be accepted by other regions as a true nationalist and not an ethnic leader (whatever that means).

Do you know how many Igbo ministers former president Obasanjo appointed in key ministries?

Can you point out what they actually did for their people even though there were federal establishments under their ministries in the South East?

What of the ministers former president Jonathan appointed that even made some Nigerians to tag his administration a Biafran administration at one point?

So, while asking for a president from the South East just readjust your expectations because that person will most likely disappoint you.

The worst federal roads in Nigeria today are located in the South East and the South South especially in the South East yet the South East received and continue to receive all sorts of political bashing for supporting the past president even more than his own region the South South.

Put differently, the South East benefited nothing from the past administration to justify the political price they are still paying for making a choice that started in 2011 and up to 2015 presidential election.

If you have worked in any multinational organization you will understand how timid even the most intelligent Igbo people are once you have people from other ethnic groups around.

The governors in the South East are in a better position to develop the South East using the money they get from the FG plus the internally generated revenue while transforming the human and natural resources in their states to create wealth and employment opportunities for our people.
